When outside the room, you can frequently spray or wash water on the face or other body parts, avoid drinking coffee as it will speed up dehydration, and get enough rest and sleep (6-8 hours per day).

There are two forms of heat stroke, namely, exertional heat stroke (EHS) which generally occurs in young people who are involved in strenuous physical activity for long periods of time in a hot environment.

"The second is non-exertional heat stroke (NEHS), which more often affects older people, chronic pain sufferers, and very young ages," he told.

According to her, the symptoms of heat stroke is coming from dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Meanwhile, signs of heat stroke include, increasing body temperature more than 40.5 degrees Celsius, reduced ability to reduce body temperature (stop sweating and the skin becomes hot), decreased blood pressure, increased heart rate and shortness of breath.

"For those of you who feel unwell, immediately do medical check-up with a doctor or go to puskesmas," she closed.
